Director Picture To prepare professionals in the fields of pharmacy, health, and management, Mr. Chen Wang founded “Chia Nan Junior College of Pharmacy” in 1966. Currently, there are 20 departments and graduate schools in four colleges: Pharmacy and Science, Human Ecology, Social Science and Management, and Environment. The University has an enrollment of approximately 17,000 students, and more than 400 full-time faculty members. In consecutive years, the university has won excellent reputation from the evaluation of the Ministry of Education. The primary objectives of the Research and Development Office are to reinforce cooperative relationships between the University and government organizations and private enterprises, to actively pursue joint research and training projects, to offer career counseling services for the University's graduates, to strengthen international academic exchange and collaboration activities, and to provide off-campus job training and other supplemental extension education. Article 1 Based on Article 5 of Ministry of Education’s “Regulations Governing Study by Foreign Students in the Republic of China,” Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science (CNU) promulgates “CNU Regulations for International Student Admissions” to recruit international students and to provide them with guidance in their academic careers and personal affairs. Article 2 The term "international students" as used in these Regulations shall mean students of foreign nationality, neither overseas Chinese nor ROC nationals, who apply to study in Taiwan in accordance with these Regulations. Those who have had dual nationality combining ROC nationality and foreign nationality may not apply for admission in accordance with these Regulations for a period of eight years after the date on which their ROC nationality is revoked by approval of the Ministry of the Interior.
